2009 “SCARECROWS ON DISPLAY” Contest Sponsored by the Pendleton Business Association
Scarecrows will again be invading the streets of Pendleton during the 2nd
Annual “Scarecrows on Display” Event! Every resident, business,
civic organization, church and school group are encouraged to get
those creative minds in gear and have some fun designing a scarecrow
display. Cash
prizes for the best themed scarecrow display will be awarded for 1st,
2nd & 3rd place. This
year’s theme is: BEST HOME-MADE SCARECROWS. All displays must be completed by
Friday, October 2nd and displays must carry out this year’s
“scarecrow” theme to be eligible for judging. Whether
your scarecrows are traditional, scary or just plain fun, anyone who wants to
participate in the contest must fill out an entry form below or email fallfestival@pendletonshops.com
with the same information by 5pm Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Feel free to do a display
